AT&T Connected Car Wi-Fi turns your car into a powerful Wi-Fi hotspot that lets you connect up to 10 devices to the internet so you can stream, browse, share, and more from the open road. A built-in Wi-Fi hotspot is already built into the car by the manufacturer. An AT&T data plan is required to activate the hotspot. A plug-in Wi-Fi hotspot is a small device that easily plugs into the diagnostics (OBD II) port in the car. We are compatible with most cars model year 1996 and newer.
