Perfect Packet offers SD-WAN services:

Perfect Packet provides all the SD-WAN knowledge, technical staff, back office engineers, and implementation experts you need to make sure your network works. We stay with you through installation, well into the future.

Choosing VMware SD-WAN™ by VeloCloud® from Perfect Packet ensures that you will:

  • Always have up-to-date software releases, not waiting for months for the providers to test their updates.
  • Have direct access to our dedicated support team, not just a tier-1 telecom tech representative.
  • Have full portal access to make changes in real-time and bypass having to open tickets for simple tasks.

Quick and easy SD-WAN

  • MPLS configuration and deployment takes way too long, often weeks or months. Network adaptability is poor, and the overall transmission performance suffers. SD-WAN can be implemented in a few minutes’ time. It can also be easily expanded if you bring on a new office location or have to move – even on a moment’s notice.

Network flexibility is a difference-maker

  • MPLS reliability is lower as data only travels along paths to which they’re directed. There is no flexibility to change course mid-stream if a brown-out or black-out occurs. Additionally, MPLS transmissions may suffer from a lack of adequate bandwidth.

Security is key

  • MPLS has no inherent encryption. Because it’s simply a traffic-routing mechanism, it creates the feel of private lines by directing packets based on predetermined paths within the network. However, it allows shared network elements and can be vulnerable when shared among multiple customers.

Savings are substantial

  • The cost of MPLS networks are up to 40% more expensive than SD-WAN solutions. Also, additional costs for increased bandwidth are often a reality for companies running MPLS. SD-WAN never requires additional bandwidth, so those expenses are eliminated. The savings benefits, along with better security, flexibility, and ease of use make SD-WAN a no-brainer.
